It has been awhile

Can't believe 1/3 of the year's passed by already, and life have been non-stop.  There's phycos at work that makes me sick and because of the workload, I've done nothing for myself lately but it's about to change. I visited the art gallery, had dinner, dessert and drinks after work.  Something really needed for a long time.  And now surfing the net.  haha, and came across this:

Women's Vocabulary

Fine - This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

Five Minutes - This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

Nothing - This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with "Fine".

Go Ahead - (With Raised Eyebrows!) This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine".

Go Ahead -  (Normal Eyebrows) This means "I give up" or "Do what you want because I don't care". You will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by "Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

<Loud Sigh> - This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing".

<Soft Sigh> - Again, not a word, but a non-verbal statement. "Soft Sighs" mean that she is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe, and she will stay content.

That's Okay -  This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a "Raised Eyebrow".

Please Do - This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance with the truth, so be careful and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay".

Thanks -  A woman is thanking you. Do not faint. Just say "You're welcome".

Thanks A Lot - This is much different from "Thanks". A woman will say "Thanks A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh". Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh" as she will only tell you "Nothing".

So...true!

Need to plan for a trip soon.  Gotta get out of here!  :D

Early Morning - Making History

Woke up an hour late than usual, and STILL managed to hop/book it on my illegal transportation that ships tiring people to work. bus.  Thank YOU for the green little man that stops the bus at the right time.  If not, I'd be later than usual and start off an even more crappy day than anything.

To 'Take it easy' this wee hours of work, there's a voting for the new 7 wonders of the world!  We can ACTUALLY be part of this!  www.new7wonders.com   It's not like I can go to these places anytime soon, but 50 years from now, in hopes that there's a bunch of kids (don't want to die alone, so I bought an abandon house to tell myths-the stories of my life) running around in the backward while I'm knitting away, I can tell them: "you know, I've taken part in deciding the 7 wonders of the world!"   *chuckles

Insane

: p

What can I say, this is insane.  My vacation seemed so short lived!  Everything was so great when there's nothing to worry about. Now I'm up to 7 feet+ with the list of stuff to do at work and everyone's breathing down my neck for stupid impossible to meet deadlines.  And then you got people telling you, I don't need to work so hard on the project......  -_-" and I should take it easy.

Let's just say, I don't know how to satisfy people or better yet, it's so hard to keep a smily face at colleagues that doesn't do their share of the work.  To add to that, it doesn't help when someone tells you every second day my skin's shit.  If he'd only know how much sleep I actually get in a day with the stuff/crap i do at home/work.

I don't have IT right now, but it sure darns feels like one.

Happy Be-LAted Year!

The year started off with a Blast.... Bash, whatever you call it. So it goes, Margaret and I decided we need adventure and a day to breathe in some different air, hence we did our count down in Macau. There was so much going on... and yet... well, let's just say we had an out-of-the-ordinary countdown. We did shopping, ate food, took a tour around Macau, and went ontop of the world's 10th highest standing tower. :) My blood pressure nearly dropped to Zero when I walk, walk walk and suddenly noticed bright light shining from below. I turned, look and realized I was standing on a piece of glass 5XX feet high and there were tiny people walking below. What else, in Macau, you can drive both the 'right' way and the 'wrong' way, very intersting... on one bus, we enter from the left and on the other, we enter from the right. Totally wacked. All in all, great times! :D

Afterwards, right after the next day we began to work our heads off like no tomorrow. Hadn't had a plesant lunch for the longest time and had meetings all through this past week with revisions. Fingers cross it'll all be smooth from here.

Other than work, my 'other' life seems to be well, today, they finally met and all seems well with chicken-duck talk. Will have to wait for the report when they come back!

Tomorrow's Antony's wedding, I'm so excited!

Christmas~ My place to BI-atch about my month...

Christmas's around the corner, and a recap of this December so far is, similar to last year, working my days in and out, !@#$ up-stair personals slapped on a sudden deadline and expect us to be finish it all before our 'RELEASE' for christmas, and worst is, he kept occupying my resources so with hands-short and all, it turned out to be a stressful Christmas, and with another hit of cold, I was out for another day, and my work just kept on piling. The next day I got back, still off and woo-zie, US sent an e-mail to us saying the game contents submitted was a bull of crap basically and too 'generic' (which my boss wanted for ALL of our products) so, we had an emergency meeting, and which lasted til 10pm, and then I went to our sound engineer for voice editing til 11pm. Poor chap, he was still there when I left.

And so the next day (Fri) goes... Our side of the team bought gifts for my supervisor (a nice victorian teapot), and the other side bought a $10HKD foam-pool sword for our boss. When they found out we actually put THOUGHT on our gift, one of them actually dare said :"well, it's YOUR fault you put in so much effort for it, and you didn't for our BOSS (because THEY didn't) so it's not a good idea to give it to our supervisor..." while the other one goes "I think we should give it TOGETHER at the SAME TIME (to show we're idoits, and to show the mass favoring we're putting on the supervisor instead of the boss). I'm soorry, I don't know how to better classify them than 'idoits'. Luckily, we're on different teams.... and if they ever read this, well, let them be. So that was what happened during most of the day, and at lunch time, to brighten up my day? We had a christmas LUNCH! That's right! 3xx people crowding into a 1000 ft training room! It was packed~ and to get into the christmas mood, the 'angels' and our supervisor decorated our hair with tinsels and for that, the HR loved our idea and will begin to implement it starting next year! Very happy~ but that is if I'm around to see it :p

Also, because it was Winter Solcetice yesterday (which it's considered very big in HK) we were able to leave early @ 4pm to have dinner with family, but it didn't apply to most of us (bummer)due to work and deadlines. So once out, I quickly joined my family @ KLN Tong @ Rice Paper - Viet Restaurant for a nice meal and went home. It ended well. :)

Today?

1) Got squished into catching a bus to TST, and I was literally least than a feet away from the front of the bus.

2) I had dinner with my collegues and her friends at a harbour restarant and drank at a local pub and a VERY LOCAL/Dodgy toilet. Great experience!

3) A mail came for me to get my Nintendo DS

4) A package arrived for me to be picked up (hope it's not bills)

5) Got a surprised called from Stephen! hehe~

Can't wait until tomorrow when I go for light viewing!!!

Wonderful Christmas

So it's this time of year again. Wow,

1) On Saturday, I went to Joanne's Open house of her Casa Learning Center, it's huge, and I wish her success in her new found business with Jennifer. Congratulations!

2) Went kitchenware shopping on Friday and Saturday after wards, bought some plates, cups, knifes, forks.... hadn't cook in ages!! So awkward~ the potato salad was delicious.

3) Went IKEA shopping, and spend over almost 10K within 3 days of my CC activation. o_O" *cold sweat*

4) He's leaving in 10 days~ Bon Voyage!!

5) The bus ride home was so informative with Margaret, she's so nice to chat to and a great guidance, and the thing that we think are so similar.

6) Spent my lunch time teaching my buddy to play the piano on his wedding day which is only a month away!!! And to-be edit his shorts for his show that night~~~ Kya~~ my first actually wedding I can attend and be an active member of!

So concluding, it's been a great start to a great month... other than my breakouts... :(

LI-Ber-RATED

So after 3 months(1 month, really) of intensive studying, I've went and take and done with the JLPT3 test. And... I'm proud, just hope i didn't fail!

Such a geek, when arrived at KLT, as I head out of Festive Walk, I began to saw a stream of people heading the same direction to take the test while i'm still holding on to the map like a tourist. I've never felt this 'School' in the longest time, and to make me more giddy, the test location was a typical hk high school with narrow hallways and a building that looks at least 50 years old. What makes it even better were they have a little banner flag outside the school saying it was the location for JLPT and the whole street were Asian! Felt like I was in Japan~ I will agree that I'm a complete dork when it comes to overimagination.

So after guessing over 50% of the answers and just happy that i'm reading and listening to Japanese, met up with SH for lunch, shop around, doing our things and out came Clare from Page One when I was putting my hand on an elephant's ass. Thank god it wasn't in any other places... scared us shitless!

Features:
the world's most expensive Christmas tress (part of it shown)
HK and it's Swarovski Blings on the whole 8-9 floor high christmas tree.
Look closely and on everyone of those ribbons and on the tree are hundreds of Swarovski crystals. Just think how many 3rd world kids they can save with each ribbon...
Mass Swarovski even on Santa's outfit!
Swarovski, Swarovski, SwarovSKI!
The elephant!
Excuse me~!

Muahahaha~~~ Evil Grins*

So I'm at work, still dizzy from the GE or whatever it is in me that's making me sick while waiting for sound recording so I decided to check how evil I am.

You Are 32% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Beware and be Very Careful~ kekeke~

Ewww~

Felt like crap, and decided to head to work, only made it worse by being stuck in traffic for 30min+ cuz of a stupid accident.

Result:...... -_-" It was food poisoning, THEY thought i was pregnant. I've never been so helpless. To ease my thought, the doctor stressed over 3 times, exact quote: "Raw food comes out below, shit food comes out above". I had sh!T food 3 times +.
